It’s no secret that Chanel collections revolve around clear themes. For the brand’s extravagant Fall/Winter 2015 runway show, Karl Lagerfeld transformed the Grand Palais in Paris into a chic French brasserie, and accessories from this collection followed the same idea. Chock full of seriously fashionable bags, this new lookbook transforms “bistro”-type influences into obsession-worthy looks. For instance, a maroon “menu” becomes an incredibly chic two-tone clutch, and a classic quilted caviar-leather bag comes decorated with tiny (and utterly adorable) spoon and fork charms.
In addition to the bistro-themed items in the collection, Chanel also releases an update of the incredibly popular ‘Boy’ bag, finishing multi-colored versions with woven flap closures or pastel mosaics. In contrast to the ‘Boy’ bag is the ‘Girl’ bag, which reinvents the classic Chanel jacket in handbag form, with sleeves forming the straps. Additionally, you’ll find slim leather belts finished with ‘CC’ logos, coin-themed jewelry, delicate necklaces, slick bangles, chic two-tone footwear, and more covetable accessories in this collection.
