South Korea has quickly surpassed Tokyo as a fashion capital, but nothing solidified its status as much as the Chanel Cruise 2015/2016 show in Seoul last month. With the Karl Lagerfeld stamp of approval, the nation advanced several rungs on the global ladder, and has become an important emerging presence in the industry.
Amongst the celebrities, editors, and fashion VIPs that descended on Seoul was Lebanese actress Razane Jammal. Savoir Flair followed her on a tour of the beautiful city, from the grand DeokSuGung Palace to the traditional SamCheong-Dong Street and the JoGyeSa Temple, where festivities were underway to honor the birthday of Buddha.
Take in the sights and sounds of Seoul – as well as Jammal’s gorgeous Chanel wardrobe from the Métiers d’Art ‘Paris-Salzburg’ collection – in the gallery above.
