By now, you all know that fringe is in – and you’ve hopefully shopped some of Savoir Flair’s favorite picks of the season. Whether you’re trying to nail the boho look or are just in need of something a little different, one of the biggest trends of Spring/Summer 2015 is thankfully spilling over into fall.
Italian-Brazilian accessories designer Paula Cademartori, who recently announced her foray into shoes, spoke exclusively to Savoir Flair about her latest bag collection ‘Radical’, which is full of fringe, for the upcoming fall/winter season. The new designs feature supple calfskin leather totes, clutches, and crossbody bags, which Cademartori says were a natural transition of her brand’s identity. “I sought inspiration at the roots of my aesthetic, and started the process by cleaning the design from inlays, applications, and combinations of different materials that have always characterized my bags.”
A slight departure from her previous colorful, graphic shoulder bags, the sleek aesthetic of the Fall 2015 designs was inspired by “women with a contemporary and free spirit, and with well-asserted tastes and personalities,” Cademartori reveals. “The new line is an ode to an understated elegance, and of course the new markets [we are entering] as well.” Her more minimalist bags are designed to work at any time, anywhere, and with any look.
