As pop culture goes, the twos have it. After all, “one is the loneliest number” and “two is better than one.” Twinning has caught on in the fashion world as well, reflecting double images that have us looking twice. Fashion impresarios like Karl Lagerfeld and Giorgio Armani have taken up twinning as a winning runway combination, sending models down the stretch in identical pairs, while on the fashionable streets of New York, London, Milan, and Paris, twin styles were conceived in pairs and trios for an added boost of head-turning charm. Real life twins are also enjoying the spotlight, like the Middle East’s own Sama and Haya Khadra.
