In the Middle East, the term “bedouin” might conjure up images of traditional garb, but London-based label Bedouin aims to change that. For designer Andraya Farrag, the term applies to a free-spirited lifestyle and the idea of fashion without borders. For the modern shopper, this means comfortable clothing, clean silhouettes, effortless style, and plenty of contemporary elements that play well with your existing wardrobe. For that reason, Farrag focused on an “on the road” theme for her Fall/Winter 2015 collection. In an exclusive interview with Savoir Flair, she shares the inspiration behind her latest work, stating that it was “inspired by a road trip through the vast skies and landscape of the Nevada Desert. The ‘On The Road’ collection is made up of versatile luxury basics that take you from day to night and across borders. The easy-to-wear pieces encourage spontaneity and are the perfect companions for your impromptu winter travel diaries.”
