“This fun outfit almost feels like I’m wearing an emoji. It’s the perfect look for a gallery opening. I actually wore it at the Art Dubai opening party.”

When and how did you find your personal style?
“My personality and my outfits have definitely evolved in phases. Today, I find myself being more experimental and creative with my style and enjoying current trends, but staying true to a certain color palette that I love, which is mostly neutrals, blues, and pastels.”
“This dress is so comfortable and modern. Paired with black Oxfords, I can wear it to the office when I have meetings or, paired with heels, I can wear it on a night out with my friends.”

How has your personal style evolved over the years?
“I’m more courageous today than I was three or five years ago. I used to avoid trends, as I felt like they might take away from my signature style, but now I find that that is not necessarily true. Trends could be really fun in the right way.”
“The top by Deborah Henning is super contemporary and minimal; you can literally wear it with anything! I would wear this on a Thursday night with my husband at La Cantine or another trendy lounge.”

How have the Internet and social media affected the way you dress or style yourself?
“For me personally, social media helps me discover new designers and gives me outfit ideas, but it also shows me what I should be avoiding.”
“This bisht is an item that I’m proud to own. It’s actually a men’s item that was given to me by an Emirati colleague. It’s so light in texture and versatile; you can wear it with literally anything and be instantly chic. It also has two sides, one beige and one gray. I love the total looseness and comfort of this outfit, perfect for a Saturday.”

Does your style reflect your personality?
“Yes, totally. It’s kind of a contemporary woman style/personality. As I have a full-time job for which I have to be out and about regularly, my wardrobe needs to be comfortable/efficient and semi formal, but at the same time chic, as I usually have social plans after work and no time to change in between. Generally, I love simplicity in outfits and tend to avoid tight clothing.”
“There’s something about the simplicity of this outfit that I love. It’s incredibly chic, comfortable, and can be worn anywhere and anytime, if paired with the right shoes and accessories.”

How do you dress up in the morning?
“On a workday, I usually wear a loose shirt with pants. On a weekend I wear a comfortable, light dress.”
I love the creativity of this Three Floor dress from Socialista; it’s so chic, artsy and feminine. I would wear this outfit on Friday night out, somewhere I can dance.

Where do you generally like to shop?
“Recently, I’ve really been enjoying shopping online on websites such as Revolve Clothing, ASOS, and Net-a-Porter.”
“This outfit is so light and fresh, which is great for a day full of meetings followed by work events in the evening.”
