Although Leila Kashanipour has made a name for herself in the jewelry world with her unique LeiVanKash line, which this season features Persian motifs with a modern twist, she pivots in a more minimal direction for Fall/Winter 2015. By relying on abstract designs and minimalist settings featuring oversized faux pearls and 22kt gold plating, the new collection makes for a noticeable evolution of the brand’s aesthetic. “This collection is somewhat a link between my two main lines; it has the cleaner lines and aesthetics of the ‘L’Etoile de Botteh’ collection, but the scale and visual characteristics of the ‘Classics’,” Kashanipour explains in an exclusive interview with Savoir Flair.
