While New York, London, and Milan proffered trends that had both standalone and crossover ideas, Paris was busy telling another story. There emerged four “comeback” looks that are familiar, but modernized.

A deep red hue spelled romance on the Paris runways, but, instead of relying on dyed fabrics to carry the romantic message forward, designers tricked out their lavish gowns and frocks with scores of red crystals, glittering red paillettes, and sparkling embroidery.
Update your wardrobe with a sensational pair of trousers, like a glossy silver or flared version covered in a sequined checkerboard. Statement trousers are the new statement anything, so grab an extra eye-catching pair for the fall season.
Very Little Black Dresses
There’s nothing as iconic as a little black dress, but, this season, designers in Paris decided to see just how far they could push the “little” part of the descriptor. This glamorous, body-conscious look is not for the faint hearted. Thankfully, there are plenty of outerwear options for the season to keep you from freezing should you don one of these tiny, sexy dresses.
Coat shapes revisited a distinct silhouette pioneered by designers like Cristóbal Balenciaga and Christian Dior. This meant drop shoulders, sloping, over-wide sleeves, angular cutouts, and cocooning volumes.
