On the last day of London Fashion Week, Burberry Prorsum presented its Fall 2015 collection, entitled, “Patchwork, Pattern & Prints”. The collection was exactly that, with long, high-waist dresses, coats, and tailored separates in English fringed suede, Durham quilts, and sheer English lace. The dresses were doused in patterns of paisley, floral, animal, camouflage, and the brand’s signature check. Ponchos, capes, trench coats, and outerwear were fringed and draped, while the accessories mirrored the visually impactful theme from beginning to end.
The British label introduced a few new styles for the fall season, including ‘The Long Fringe Scarf’ in checkered cashmere, the covetable ‘Ponytail’ boots with swaying fringe at the heel, new sunglasses called ‘Burberry Round Shades’, and, the most eye-catching of them all, ‘The Bucket Bag’. The new must-have bag was shown in various colorways of suede, animal print, camouflage, the Burberry print, and fringe.
