On the third day of New York Fashion Week, Joseph Altuzarra presented a collection of high-slit skirts, lace separates, fur collars, and inviting slip dresses that were at the same time sexy and modest, seductive and reserved. Taking center stage were the Victorian-inspired boots with ruffled detailing, which added to the presentation’s theme by calling forth notions of repressed sensuality from the 19th century. In both ankle and knee heights, the lace-ups were shown in variations of leather and lace materials.
