“Motherhood is tiring, but so rewarding.” That’s how young Emirati fashion entrepreneur Hind Beljafla described her new journey to Savoir Flair. The DAS Collection co-founder married her husband, Majid, last year in a spectacular ceremony that sparked the hashtag #theMaJind, and the two recently celebrated the arrival of their first child, Sultan, who is now three months old. Although she is a new mother, she still finds the time to look after herself, her health, and her family while juggling business duties for her brand.

I start every morning with a cup of hot water, ginger, and lemon.
I massage Sultan with Sebamed’s ‘Skin Care Oil’ before his shower everyday. I love the Sebamed range so much that I actually use it on myself!
Sultan sleeps like a baby in his Cocoonababy ‘Red Castle’ nest.
While Sultan takes a nap, I head to the new running track along the beach in Jumeirah for a walk.
It’s time for breakfast. On today’s menu: a poached egg on a bed of sweet potatoes.
I love the Nature Babycare products; they’re good for both babies and the environment.
I’m on maternity leave, but I can’t help but stop by DAS every other day.
When you have a new baby, it’s important to make the time to take care of and pamper yourself. Today I stopped by a new blow-dry bar near my house.
I head back home after having run a few errands and have a salad for lunch.
Of the many, many baby books I’ve read, this is hands down the most useful. I really enjoyed the activities that are recommended to help your baby learn faster and the parent testimonials, which helped me realize that I wasn’t alone in how I felt.
My afternoon snack time. I keep healthy snacks on hand, like veggie chips or avocado on rye bread. When I’m in the mood for something sweet, I stop by Shakespeare & Co. for the mille-feuille.
In the afternoon, when my husband is back from work, we take Sultan and our Labrador, Bacon Sunflower, for a walk.
My beautiful family.
Majid puts Sultan to bed before we sit down for dinner.
We make sure to eat healthy food as much as possible at home, so dinner is usually comprised of grilled meats and vegetables.
