Iconic French fashion house Hermès recently launched La Maison des Carrés, an interactive website that will act as both a virtual home for its iconic scarves and a tangible journey through 600 models of beautiful silk squares, shawls, ‘Twillys’, scarves, and stoles. Inspired by the gorgeous website, the celebration of the Hermès ‘Carré’, and the idea of giving it a permanent residence in a non-physical reality, Savoir Flair recreated a home for the scarves in the real world. Shot in Zighy Bay, Oman, in a breathtaking location made to resemble a 200-year-old Omani village, classic and contemporary scarves are canonized in a regional setting and will forever have a home in the GCC.
