Yesterday, luxury jeweler and watchmaker Piaget opened the doors of its newest boutique in Dubai’s Mall of the Emirates. The new store is the brand’s eighth location in the Middle East and one of a select few to house exclusive bridal collection pieces. CEO of Piaget Philippe Léopold-Metzger and Lebanese singer Yara, the brand’s Middle Eastern ambassador, welcomed guests to the exquisitely decorated store, which was designed by renowned architect Christine Querlioz. The black and gold décor, the architecture, and the ambiance of the boutique were inspired by the Viennese Secession period.
On the new boutique opening, brand director Jean-Marc Shammas said, “The inauguration of Piaget’s new boutique is an extremely proud moment for us, but what gives us even more pleasure is that this boutique is one of the few with a dedicated bridal section. I am confident now that, with this new boutique, we will revive the once popular saying that ‘an Arab wedding is incomplete without a Piaget creation being gifted.’”
