For Spring/Summer 2015, Olivier Rousteing continued his love affair with chokers and cuffs, turning to the sleek accessories to compliment his latest Balmain collection. It’s hard to forget the images of supermodels Joan Smalls, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Karlie Kloss, and Jourdan Dunn – the ‘Balmain Army’ – walking during the brand’s Fall 2014 show decked out in bright-orange and gold tribal chokers with matching bracelets. This season, however, Rousteing opted for a more modern approach to the accessories, using black, gold, and white lacquer with transparent inserts to create his new chokers and cuffs.
