For Spring 2015, historical Parisian brand Vionnet presented an out-of-this-world collection of flowing dresses, skirts, and separates topped off with space-age accessories. Models sashayed down the runway looking like high-fashion versions of Queen Padmé from Star Wars – which is played by Oscar-winning actress Natalie Portman – equipped with supersized oval-shaped belts, futuristic statement necklaces, and leather harnesses. Most notable was the footwear; transparent heels with floating spheres and squares, flat sporty sandals that extended just below the knee, and nude booties with red and blue detailing.
