The best thing about fashion is choice. Unless you’re married to a signature look, like Karl Lagerfeld or Diane Pernet, you can choose a different “look” every day (or, if you’re indecisive, multiple times a day). You can be a princess or a punk, a goth or an angel, or settle for overarching wardrobe themes. Identity is a mutable concept, which is why Blugirl’s Spring/Summer 2015 collection feels right – you can be a flapper girl with a hipster beanie or a boho babe in motorcycle boots if you want to. The choice is yours.

Designer Anna Molinari connects several ideas together for a presentation that gives us options for day – whether you’re feeling youthful, rebellious or angelic. In a sense, the presentation reflects what young women are already wearing, but Molinari touches her looks with gorgeous embroidery, sequins, lace, and sweet floral prints to add a high-fashion shine to the proceedings. Choose from tailored camo jackets, silk floral bombers, lavender lace shifts, buffalo plaid blouses and embroidered slip dresses. Whatever you select, the mix-and-match combinations are virtually endless.
