Like perfectly-wrapped Christmas presents, the shoes at No.21 were gifts that kept giving. While unconventional looks of plaid slip dresses and transparent lace skirts marched down the runway, it was the satin and leather shoes that made the biggest statement on the first day of Milan Fashion Week. For Spring 2015, Italian-born designer Alessandro Dell’Acqua showcased regal mules and flat slip-on sandals made to look like artistically crafted bows, in rich hues of gold, deep burgundy, olive green, and metallic fabrics.
