Keeping in line with its Fall/Winter 2014 accessories, Burberry Prorsum presented a colorful, art-inspired collection at London Fashion Week. A casual undertone defined the spring collection, with models decked out in tiered tulle dresses, sequin embellished skirts, cropped jackets, flowing skirts, and denim trench coats all paired with sneakers and flat sandals. While tulle bow belts were an eye-catching addition to the looks, it was the British brand’s bags that stood out the most.
Looking like a parade of ultra chic art students between classes at Parsons, models carried leather portfolios, oversized backpacks, colorful clutches, and small cross-body totes down the runway. Words like ‘rainbow’ and ‘adventure’ adorned the hand-painted accessories, in a whimsical font. Abstract art covered the colorful clutches and backpacks, and mini satchels and totes were shown in a variety of colors, perfect for the Spring/Summer 2015 season.
