To mark the creation and release of exclusive Temperley London dresses on Net-a-Porter, designer Alice Temperley unveiled a shoppable video that allows visitors to the luxury e-commerce site to purchase the pieces via the film itself. Directed by Temperley and captured by Henry Temperley, her filmmaker brother, the video portrays “It” girls and socialites Anouck Lepere, Caroline Issa, Jacquetta Wheeler, Jade Parfitt, Laura Bailey, and Padma Lakshmi in the designs, making their way to Temperley’s annual summer party in Somerset, England. It was American company Cinematique’s cutting-edge technology that allowed the footage to be transformed into a digital shopping experience, exclusively for Net-a-Porter.
On the subject of the collaboration, Temperley shared, “I am delighted to be working with Net-a-Porter. Our exclusive collaboration with Cinematique came about very organically, during a recent trip to New York. The digital, technical, and creative vision between all of us worked from the very beginning, and it felt like the perfect collaboration. We’re doing something innovative and ground-breaking, but also really fun.”
