Nowadays, Lanvin’s perspective in the industry has become absolutely essential, offering an incredibly wearable idea of fashion-forward designs. This is due in large part to Lanvin’s designer, Alber Elbaz, and his democratic and compassionate view of fashion, which takes into account the real-life women who wear his clothes. It comes as no surprise that Elbaz is present behind the scenes on a campaign shoot, making small talk with the models and tweaking the finished looks, as the campaign’s model points out that they’re “having a ball”. Lanvin’s blend of clean, economic lines and sensual accents, like folds and fringes, meet with excessive touches for Spring/Summer 2014. Alongside minimalist sheath dresses are stacks of glittering jewelry, gorgeous bags enhanced by mirrored paillettes, crystal-embroidered gowns, and even multi-colored metallic sneakers. Go behind the scenes with Lanvin – one of fashion’s most important voices – and catch a glimpse of how its Spring/Summer 2014 campaign came together in the video above.
