In this exclusive video, we take you behind the scenes to witness the making of Winter Blooms, starring the delicate and beautiful Nikola Romanova. Shot by renowned photographer Jeremy Zaessinger on a riverside landscape of unearthly beauty, the story of this season’s surprising interest in florals unfolds. All aspects of the flower are explored by designers the likes of Valentino, Lanvin, and Dior for the Fall/Winter 2013 season – from the soft folds of petals reflected in avant-garde silhouettes to the brilliance of the blossom forming the colorful palette of the clothes. Tinted gray by a solstice sky, our Winter Blooms shoot has a haunting quality. Like a fragile crocus that perseveres through the winter snow, the promise of spring winds its way through yards of rose-printed silks and floral appliqué skirts.
