Ralph Lauren’s latest innovative video features rescue dogs from the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) trotting happily alongside street-strolling models – both outfitted in Ralph Lauren accessories. The brand’s latest philanthropic effort combines our love of furry four-legged friends with fashion. The film pulls double-duty as a showcase of Ralph Lauren’s Fall/Winter 2013 accessories while gently drawing attention to the plight of homeless pups around the world. The ASPCA’s Elysia Howard comments on the collaboration, saying, “We are grateful to Ralph Lauren for showcasing these incredible rescue dogs through this campaign, and helping us spread the message that pet adoption is always the best option.” The featured canine models enjoyed Ralph Lauren’s luxurious leather carriers and snug little sweaters, while their companions sported slick saddlebags and elegant jewelry. Whether you choose matching looks for yourself and your pooch, or you treat her to a sweater of her very own, ten percent of all proceeds from the campaign will go to benefit the ASPCA.
