Leave it to Kate Middleton to give us a styling lesson even when she’s on duty. Last week, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge completed a three-day tour of the United Kingdom aboard the Royal train, with the goal of thank healthcare and frontline workers for their work during the pandemic. Six outfit changes and 1,250 miles later, the Duchess has schooled us on wearing statement coats with a spin.
With plenty of deep greens, reds, and tartan prints, Middleton has (almost) singlehandedly gotten the festive dressing ball rolling. Here are all of Kate Middleton’s looks from the tour.
Look One
The Duchess of Cambridge arrived at the London Euston Station dressed in a deep green Alexander McQueen coat and a tartan scarf by York Scarves. The Duchess completed the look with a pair of suede Ralph Lauren boots, Cornelia James gloves, Accessorize earrings, and a face mask by her go-to brand, Amaia.
Look Two
As the Royal train arrived in Edinburgh, Middleton made an entrance in a stunning bright blue Catherine Walker coat, the same suede boots as the earlier look, and a matching floral Amaia face mask. She also clutched a Strathberry wallet in her hand.
Look Three
The Duke and Duchess then traveled to Batley to visit the Batley Community Center. For the occasion, Middleton changed into a double-breasted Hobbs coat, a cream sweater, navy wide-legged pants, and Emmy London shoes. She finished the look with a Métier London handbag.
Look Four
As the royal train made the final stop for the day in Manchester, the Duchess swapped her subtle cream sweater in favor of a printed Troy London jumper.
Look Five
On their next stop in Wales, The Duchess wore a head-turning bright red Alexander McQueen coat, an Emilia Wickstead tartan skirt, and a matching face mask. She completed the look with a Grace Han handbag and Spell of Love earrings. Look Six
At Windsor, the final stop of their tour – where the Cambridges were reunited with the Queen, the Prince of Wales, and the Duchess of Cornwall – Middleton donned an emerald Catherine Walker coat adorned with a faux fur lapel by Troy London, as well as an Alexander McQueen clutch.
