In celebration of the launch of SFX: The Little Magazine that Could and Did published by Assouline and encapsulating 10 years of Savoir Flair’s history, we have something very special in store for you. If you’ve ever imagined yourself on one of our digital covers, now’s your chance. You can star in your own cover of SFX with a newly released Instagram filter, designed by Sophie Katirai.
Katirai, who is the Dubai-based founder of Sophie’s Closet, has moved from the brick-and-mortar success of her jewelry boutique to the digital success of designing some of the most sought-after filters in the world. It’s Katirai, after all, who designed Kylie Jenner’s butterfly filter earlier this year, and who has over 100 filters to her name, garnering over three billion weekly impressions.
To create this filter, Katirai took elements from our luxury coffee-table book cover, as well as the Savoir Flair cover logo, and transformed them into a black-and-white filter that puts you front and center. To demonstrate this beautiful filter, one of the stars of our book, Razane Jammal of the Netflix hit show Paranormal, shows off her SFX side by demonstrating how chic it looks.
There are two ways you can access the filter: the first is by going to Savoir Flair’s Instagram page and clicking on the smiley face at the top row right before the feed, or you can open Stories, go to “Browse Effects” and type in Savoir Flair to find it. If you post a selfie using the filter, please be sure to tag @SavoirFlair and #SFX so we can easily find you and share it on our account!
