It might have officially been the first day of fall, but Kate Middleton chose a decidedly summery ensemble while visiting London’s Battersea Park. With the capital basking in unseasonably warm temperatures and bright sunshine, the Duchess of Cambridge donned a casual white T-shirt with a pair of pink pleated trousers and simple white trainers for the occasion.
The mom of three spent time in the Old English Garden, meeting parents to hear how peer support groups have been coping during the coronavirus pandemic. She also met with representatives from organizations including Home-Start, National Childbirth Trust, and Mush to find out how they’ve relied on outdoor spaces like Battersea Park to enable moms, dads, and children to enjoy socially-distanced meet-ups during the lockdown.
If Kate’s effortlessly stylish outfit looks familiar, that’s because the trousers are part of a suit she wore back in March. Priced at just AED 140, the Marks & Spencer trousers sold out after they got the royal stamp of approval.
After a summer where floral shirtdresses dominated Kate’s wardrobe, it’s great to see her switching it up with this chic but laid-back look. We also love the way she accessorized her top and trousers combo with delicate gold jewelry.
As well as popping on her much-loved Daniella Draper hoop earrings and Halcyon Days bangle, Middleton sported two new necklaces today. The first was the ‘Double Strand Beaded Satellite Chain Necklace’, from Spells of Love, which she layered over a triple-disc chain. Looking closely, you can just about make out the letter ‘C’ on one of the discs, which makes us think this is a personalized necklace dedicated to her three children, George, Charlotte and Louis.
