Like most companies navigating the new normal, Prada’s schedule of international cultural events has ground to a halt. However, that hasn’t stopped the Italian luxury house from innovating, as evidenced by the launch of Prada Possible Conversations. This new series of live digital talks entails an ongoing dialogue between prominent fashion figures, cultural tastemakers, and thinkers across the world, allowing for a free and energizing exchange of ideas at a time where limitations are imposed on the physical realm.
Via the house’s Instagram account, Prada Possible Conversations will focus on conversational exchanges from leaders in fashion, art, architecture, cinema, and thought, with an intersecting focus on literature, philosophy, and psychology. The first installment is scheduled for tomorrow – April 14 at 6 p.m. (CET) – with Pamela Golbin (Artistic Director of Jacquard x Google Arts & Culture Residency) and Alexander Fury (Fashion Features Director of AnOther magazine) collaborating on the topic of “Fashion in Times of Crises”. Considering this will be both an escapist and an educational experience, we’re setting our alarms already.
