As the chaos of Couture Week came to a close, Savoir Flair began shooting the collections on the steps of the Palais de Tokyo in Paris.
This shoot, which focused on linearity, juxtaposed bright graphic lines and strict modernity against a lush and opulent background. In sparkling couture gowns and lean reptile separates, model Megan Hawkins used her regal androgyny to bring life to the shoot. Assisted by Amine Jreissati, photographer Jeremy Zaessinger captured the moments that we at Savoir Flair believe really defined the mood and message of Fall 2013 Couture. The stunning shots were accomplished beautifully as Parisians walked around the team, going about their every day lives. One of the best moments of the shoot was when Hawkins emerged in a cloud of frothy, baby-blue chiffon, dotted at the hem with delicately embroidered flowers. Watch as passersby stop to gawk while Zaessinger moves in for a tight capture of the gown’s details. Watch the video above to see how even the most divergent elements can come together to provoke an emotional response to high fashion.
