The connection between two sisters and their Omani roots is what breathed life into the Endemage label.
Few outside the fashion industry had heard of Endemage until its show during Muscat Fashion Week earlier this year, and the Omani brand has been firmly on our radar ever since. Aptly named, the brand is owned by two Omani sisters, Lubna and Nadia, and means “the merging of two”.
For Fall/Winter 2013, Endemage keeps its silhouettes elegant and flattering, ranging from mullet hems to peplum details on dresses and skirts. Loose veils fall from the shoulders of a dress and the hips of a maxi-length skirt, adding movement and fluidity to the garments. The cuts and rich fabrics scream West, but the Endemage girls carefully tie in their culture through beautiful, subtle details. Clothes are etched with ancient Omani patterns, adding an inherently Arabic quality to their line of high-end fashions. Click through our gallery above and get swept away by crocheted cream tops, exquisite beading details, rich textures, and even richer shades in Endemage’s debut ready-to-wear collection.
