Following the circus-themed couture extravaganza that took place in Dubai earlier this month, it’s apparent that Dior’s love affair with Dubai is not over yet – far from it, in fact. Designing a stunning capsule collection entitled ‘Dior Or’ exclusively for the Middle East, Maria Grazia Chiuri chose our city as its launch point. This glamorous array of reinvented items from Dior’s Fall 2019 line is centered around gold, making it perfect for the region.
‘Dior Or’ extends beyond ready-to-wear to include accessories, sunglasses, bags, and shoes. And considering the inspiration behind the collection, the ‘Lady Dior’, ‘Saddle’, and ‘Diorama’ bags are offered in the metallic shade. The ‘Dior Book’ tote, meanwhile, features graphic motifs and is upholstered in lurex. From head to toe, glimmer is of the essence in the brocatelle appliqués, sparkly tulle dresses, chunky flower rings, and even the ‘J’Adior’ shoes – Chiuri’s work never ceases to entice.
