Let’s face it: Kate Middleton never misses a sartorial step, which is why she’s always one to watch on official royal outings. But when she’s not attending a grandiose gala or serious speaking engagement, the Duchess of Cambridge proves that she’s just like us — dressing with a ‘comfort first’ mindset.
When visiting King Henry’s Walk Garden in London yesterday, she opted for See by Chloé hiking boots and the chic ‘Bracken’ tweed jacket by Dubarry of Ireland. Can we all agree this is her most down-to-earth look in a while? And can we also agree it’s a far cry from how sister-in-law Meghan Markle dressed for her first public appearance of 2019 just days prior? Having said that, we never tire of combat boots, and love that Middleton proved that – on certain days – comfort doesn’t need to be sacrificed for style.
