A lot goes on behind the scenes of a fashion campaign — make-up touchups, last-minute fittings, and most importantly: dancing. In a new Instagram post from Donatella Versace, we saw that sometimes the best way to get a memorable shot is to do just that, dance! For Versace’s Spring/Summer 2019 campaign shot by Steven Meisel, models Bella Hadid, Irina Shayk, and Shalom Harlow were tapped to don the brand’s luxurious Italian prints. However, when it came to getting a stunning action shot, Shalom got in the groove and really went for it — more proof that models really know how to put in the work.

For the collection, Versace revived some of its classic prints as showcased on the runway during Fashion Week, where Harlow made a long-awaited appearance. Along with the iconic supermodel, photographer Steven Meisel also shot Hadid and Shayk, who brought their own sultry touches to the campaign. While we only tend to see the glossy final results when it comes to the ads, glances at the actual work that goes into making the shots are just as fascinating and let us know just how much candidness — and effort — models really put in on set.
