December is still a few weeks away, but Burberry is already getting into the Christmas spirit. On the heels of announcing a collaboration with Vivienne Westwood, the English brand has unveiled a new star-studded campaign, giving the world a glimpse of the highly anticipated collection that will be released on December 6th. Entitled Close Your Eyes and Think of Christmas, Riccardo Tisci’s first commercial with Burberry shows a set of four tableaus with a cast that is British to the core – Naomi Campbell and her mother Valerie Morris-Campbell, actress Kristin Scott Thomas, rapper M.I.A., and actor Matt Smith all make an appearance.
Set to the tune of Carol of the Bells, the video is shot and directed by British artist and photographer Juno Calypso, who wanted to capture the rituals of the festive season in a realistic way. Though the holiday season is not quite upon us, this Burberry masterpiece is the early gift we’ve been waiting for.
