Are you ready for some great news? The inaugural campaign shots from the highly-anticipated collaboration between Swedish retailer H&M and Moschino are finally here! After the initial announcement of the partnership in April, November 8 couldn’t come soon enough. Though we still have to wait a little, we can now bring you more insight as to what the designs entail.
In true Jeremy Scott fashion, there is no shortage of excess, glam, and opulence. Captured by legendary photographer Steven Meisel, a leather-clad Gigi Hadid stars as a 1980s vision leaning against a chair in lavish surroundings. The second still displays models Imaan Hammam, Rianne Von Rompaey, Yasmin Wijnaldum, Stella Maxwell, and Soo Joo Park draped in chain printed dresses, gold puffer jackets and plenty of chunky jewelry.
So far, only two images have been released, but if they’re any indication of what’s in store, it seems that Scott’s fanbase will be pleased. Coming off a well-received Spring 2019 Moschino collection, the creative director of the Italian fashion house shows no signs of slowing down. Pairing with the mass retailer gives Moschino the opportunity to reach a wider audience and to expand his creative boundaries.
Previous H&M collaborations include designers such Stella McCartney, Lanvin, Alexander Wang, Viktor and Rolf, Marni, and Isabel Marant to name a few. The collection will be available online and in store starting November 8.
