Before Symphony existed, retail options for the discerning shopper in the region who really knew fashion were extremely limited. Leave it to visionary Emirati entrepreneur Salama Alabbar to launch one of the region’s most exciting concept boutiques in 2010, stocking for the first time an expertly curated blend of emerging, regional, and established brands. Coupled with a sleek environment and savvy buyers, a stop by Symphony meant exposure to some of the best designs that the worlds of fashion and accessories had to offer.

For six years, Symphony sat in a small, corner boutique inside The Dubai Mall, but as its patronage and personal brand grew, it ached to spread its wings. With the enormous expansion of the mall’s Fashion Avenue wing, Symphony found the perfect opportunity to grow. The new two-storey Symphony boutique boasts a breadth of luxury experiences, offering not only a chic “home away from home” floor design, expert staff, VIP dressing rooms, and brilliant retail offerings, but also a café, a flower shop, and a perfumery.

Discover the new Symphony store by the numbers and get to know the new, updated version of the retail destination you know and love. You can also experience Symphony in a digital, luxurious, and unique way through its website and BySymphony application on iOS.

Square Feet of Premium Retail Space

Two floors and 10,000 square feet of The Dubai Mall’s prestigious retail destination located in its brand new fashion extension are dedicated to Symphony’s luxurious new address. Look for the giant pink Coca Cola bottle created exclusively by the beverage company for Symphony and, inside, you’ll find one of the area’s most exciting new shopping spaces.

Luxury Designer Labels

The most important aspect of Symphony’s DNA is its eye for emerging regional talent. On the store floor, you’ll find a section that exclusively contains collections from 21 of the most important local designers. Around the corner is Symphony’s ready-to-wear and contemporary section filled with the latest fashion trends by 80 international fashion and accessories brands.

Changing Rooms

Split between Symphony’s two-storey boutique are six changing rooms, including one massive VIP room that can accommodate you and your whole shopping entourage.

Shopping Sections

Symphony’s sprawling, two-storey boutique is comprised of six distinct sections: a perfumery housing Green Bar, Villa 515, Zenology, and Chabaud, a standalone flower shop by Kadi Flowers, an accessories section that includes Rafe New York exclusively for Symphony alongside Malone Soulier and Rosantica.

There’s also a lifestyle area that carries Tinkah Saccal Design House, a café that serves food and beverages, a ready-to-wear section featuring brands like Tibi and Razan Alazzouni, an eveningwear portion featuring the likes of Christian Siriano, Zac Posen, Rosie Assoulin, and Andrew Gn, and a fine-jewelry area boasting designs by Shamsa Alabbar.

Years in the Making

Retail excellence at the superior level that Symphony is offering doesn’t just happen overnight. In fact, ever since it left its original retail space in 2016, the boutique has been planning this breathtaking expansion, laboring over every minute detail from the lighting and floor design to the menu in the café.

With a flower shop, perfumery, and hundreds of retail options, Symphony is a literal one-stop shop, especially considering that when you get peckish, you don’t even have to leave the premises. Instead, visit TWO at Symphony, an elevated café experience that offers hot and cold beverages and casual comfort food.

Specially Made Candle

If you’re shopping for a gift or treat that reflects the excellence that Symphony is synonymous with, seek out the specially created candle called ‘Opening Night’, which contains top notes of iris.

All of the eye-catching goods available at Symphony are the result of one incredibly talented buyer: Farah Mounzer. When she’s not jetting off to Fashion Week to scout new talent and place orders for new collections, she’s orchestrating what’s in stock on the Symphony floor. She’s considered one of the region’s most trusted fashion eyes, so a visit to Symphony to see what Mounzer is showcasing means you’re in good hands – every time.
