Our recent Shore Thing editorial spread might have been beach-themed, but it was anything but sweet and sunny. Instead, this moody, thoughtful shoot takes a more sensual, interesting approach to highlighting seasonal trends.

The model, with mermaid locks and smoky eye shadow, traipses the pebbled, rocky beach as photographer Jeremy Zaessinger captures her wanton peaks at the camera. Stylist Jessica Gordon chooses earth tones decorated with opulent embellishments for a nice juxtaposition of beach-themed expectations. Click to watch as we take our team all the way to the pristine beaches of Étretat, in the Haute-Normandie region in northern France, for a spectacular day of shooting.
