Models, musicians, and industry insiders gathered post-Fall 2017 Couture Week at some of Paris’ most prestigious venues to don their finest for brand-hosted parties and dinners. One woman who caused a particular stir on the FROW was music royalty Celine Dion. Aside from her excited cheerleading at Giambattista Valli and powerful poses at Dior, Dion’s multifaceted “comeback wardrobe” has certainly been the talk of the town. Here, Savoir Flair has rounded up Dion et al for this week’s edition of best-dressed celebrities. Browse the looks and don’t forget to cast your vote in the poll, below.
Look by Chanel
Supermodel extraordinaire Claudia Schiffer sports the perfect FROW outfit at the Chanel Couture show. Demonstrating exactly how to merge comfort with cool, her simple-yet-refined boiler suit paired with pearly flats and a statement bag make a case for mixing polished pieces with slouchy silhouettes. Extra kudos for those retro white-framed sunglasses.
Look by Schiaparelli Couture
There she goes again! Could Olivia Palermo’s Fashion Week wardrobe be any more perfect? The sartorial chameleon outdid herself for the Schiaparelli show, wearing Spring/Summer 2017 Couture. On paper, her bright-white minidress and off-white structured blazer shouldn’t work together – but they do. Finished with a pair of pointed patent loafers, Palermo is 2017’s answer to Alice in Wonderland’s Queen of Hearts (in the best way).
Dress by Giambattista Valli Couture
The younger Hadid sister had a very busy week, walking for both Fendi and Alexandre Vauthier. She did, however, still have time to attend a few fashion parties and did so in true supermodel style. Seen here in Paris, the model sports a tangy Giambattista Valli Spring/Summer 2017 Couture gown, complete with signature mullet hem. The explosion of color is not one we often see on Hadid and, paired with a Messika diamond choker and encrusted Christian Louboutin courts, the look feels like a breath of fresh air.
Dress by Valentino
American actress and director Brie Larson goes über pretty for her front-row appearance at Valentino. Something about the Resort 2018 gown feels like a dark fairytale, boasting fine black tulle, dusty-pink embroidery, and intricate silver beading. Larson’s simple beauty look and lack of accessories leave the dress to do all the talking – and rightly so.
Dress by Burberry
Is there ever a time when Cinderella actress Lily James doesn’t look like a princess? Probably not. Favoring a simpler silhouette as of late, the actress steps out in Paris in a jaw-dropping custom Burberry gown. Embellished with sequins and beads in pale blue and silver from head to toe, the icy-toned dress feels like the perfect evolution from the frothy gowns we’re used to seeing on the British actress.
Dress by Ralph & Russo Couture
Known for her tendency to experiment with her personal style, Zendaya Coleman has been favoring a more sophisticated look at recent events. For Ralph & Russo’s post-show party, she continues to champion the brand, opting for all-out elegance in a gown from the Spring/Summer 2017 Couture runway. With the addition of bedazzled accessories, the actress is a regal vision in all white.
Dress by Reem Acra
Flying the flag for the Middle East, Celine Dion is seen leaving her Parisian hotel in a Fall/Winter 2017 Reem Acra look. The printed, jewel-toned dress is a statement in itself, but that beaded heart-shaped belt is truly a piece of craftsmanship to be admired. It may be a little out there, but we love Dion’s confidence when wearing it.
