When it comes to shopping in Jeddah, there’s an ongoing struggle to find a mall with the right variety, atmosphere, and space. Whether you’re looking for something specific or simply want to browse new collections, the abundance of options makes it hard to figure out where to go for what. Here, Savoir Flair narrows down the top six shopping malls for food and fashion in the bustling Saudi city.

Boulevard

Housing the flagship stores of some of the world’s most coveted luxury brands, Boulevard is the new luxury destination in the heart of the city. Whether you’re hunting for Gucci’s new “It” bag, browsing through Tiffany’s ‘HardWear’ collection, or trying on the latest Oscar de la Renta gown, the relaxed environment here will encourage you to stroll from one store to the other. Inspired by light and nature, the outdoor space hosts the likes of Armani, Balenciaga, and 36 more brands in a sleek and stylish environment.

Red Sea Mall

With its recent exterior refurbishment, it’s now become impossible to miss the rainbow-lit Red Sea Mall. Located right on King Abdulaziz Road, this impressive shopping and entertainment destination hosts everything from department stores and local shops to the only Pottery Barn outlet in Jeddah. One of the city’s busiest shopping malls, Red Sea also boasts a family-friendly environment with plenty of options for children’s entertainment.

Mall of Arabia

Strategically located near the airport, Mall of Arabia encompasses everything your heart desires. Whether you’re shopping for wardrobe staples from high-street brands such as Mango and Zara, browsing for jewelry by the likes of L’azurde and Damas, or even looking for a new book to read, this open-spaced mall with ceiling-to-floor windows has got you covered.

Catering particularly to families, its offering includes plenty of toy shops, arcades, and game centers such as KidZania and Billy Beez that are sure to keep the kids entertained while you slip away for a much-needed shopping spree. End your evening at the massive food court, where plenty of international family-friendly restaurants await.

El Khayyat Center

Jeddah’s very own take on Rodeo Drive, El Khayyat Center is the ultimate spot for high-end fashion and accessories. Established over two decades ago, this fashion haven houses over 35 brands and three multi-brand stores, making it the perfect destination for splurging on iconic labels like Dior and Valentino. The shopping center is also home to department stores that provide a one-stop alternative, such as Etoile, Rubaiyat, and Jawaher. And if the chaos of everyday malls deters you from shopping, you’ll be glad to hear that the atmosphere at El Khayyat is usually quiet and relaxed.

Stars Avenue

Located between Sari and Malik Road, Stars Avenue is the perfect place to shop, eat, and relax. Spread across three floors with an unusual blend of stores ranging from international brands such as BCBGMAXAZRIA and Karen Millen to local brands like Tiraz Mix and The Huntress, the mall also boasts the biggest Rubaiyat department store with an entire floor dedicated to accessories.

One of its main attractions, however, is the range of restaurants located on the ground floor. Local favorite Goodies is a restaurant and gourmet store offering fresh Lebanese food and juices that are easy to pick up on the way home. For a fun and entertaining dining alternative, visit Café Ceramique, where you can put your creativity to the test by painting everything from mugs to plates and vases – all while enjoying a bite to eat.

Le Chateau Mall

Inspired by elaborate European architecture, Le Chateau lands on our list as one of the most picturesque shopping destinations in Jeddah. Not your typical mall, this open space with wide passageways hosts everything from local concept store Libra to the highly recommended Oriana nail salon. Le Chateau is also known for its fashion offering, which includes wedding- and cocktail-dress specialist Pronovias and the very first Rubaiyat Kids store. Arguably, the mall’s main attraction is Piatto, a restaurant located in a sunken courtyard and serving up Italian favorites like ‘Pesto Rigatoni’ and ‘Wild Mushroom Gnocchi’.
