For nearly a year – since it was announced in July 2016 – we have eagerly anticipated the arrival of Alexa Chung’s new clothing line, designed by the influencer herself. Who wouldn’t want to snag the icon’s personal style? After all, she’s the one who delivered unto the fashion obsessed a quirky-girl uniform of Mary Janes, babydoll dresses with Peter Pan collars, ubiquitous leopard-print everything, and eccentric vintage looks. Her style identity is so unique that she literally built a career out of dressing well, and it’s through her new line, Alexachung, that she chooses to share her personal fashion vision.
While Chung is no stranger to the design side of fashion, having collaborated on sell-out collections with Madewell, AG, and many others, this is the first time she’s been tasked with helming the entire operation. That being said, her fashion insight and business acumen have never been in question, so we’re pretty confident we’re going to love this line as much as we love its creator.
Below, discover all of the must-know news about Chung’s clothing line ahead of its May 30 release.

Such a Tease
Naturally, we expected an insanely stylish ad campaign to enhance the visuals of her May 30 release, and Chung did not disappoint. Watch the video below, which was shot by the gifted Lori Askill, who has previously worked on music videos for Sia and with Alexander McQueen, Tome and Calvin Klein.
Chung’s new clothing line deserves a shiny new logo to go with it. She revealed the look on Instagram – an elegant graphic A with an elongated stem. Its polished appearance is perhaps a sign of the collection’s personality.
While Chung has 2.7 million followers on her personal account, she recently launched a separate Instagram account for her new clothing line. Follow @AlexaChungstagram to keep up with all the product launches, announcements, campaigns, and more.
