In the Navy
Show attendees arrived to a sleek, modern, and chic runway set-up in the Musée Rodin. Campaign star Ruth Bell opened the show and she was followed by an army of models dressed in Maria Grazia Chiuri’s all-navy collection.
Gang's All Here
Rihanna, Karlie Kloss, Kate Moss, Sienna Miller, Olivia Palermo, Uma Thurman, Alicia Keys, Rosamund Pike, and more ― it was a seriously full house on the Dior front row.
With Guido Palau on hair and Peter Philips on makeup, it was inevitable that Dior’s beauty look would be pure perfection. Softly waved, brushed-out locks were teamed with clean, creamy complexions courtesy of the new ‘Diorskin Forever Perfect Cushion Foundation’, making for a dreamy, effortless look. As Karen Wazen described backstage, it was all about that “no makeup makeup” effect, with lips left au naturel and eyes barely touched.
You Can Leave Your Hat On
You can quite literally leave your hat on, no matter the time of day, the occasion, or the look you’re going for (weekend casual or evening glam) – at least according to Maria Grazia Chiuri. The key focus of Dior’s Fall/Winter 2017 accessories collection is, without a doubt, the leather beret. The resulting look is chic, cool, and feminine but also feminist, revolutionist, and traditionalist at the very same time. Welcome to the mood set by Chiuri for next season.
