There’s no stopping Fendi. Just about a week ago, the Italian luxury brand launched the “F is For…” project during New York Fashion Week with a raging party, and today it debuted its latest collection on the second day of Milan Fashion Week. Savoir Flair’s editors have combed through all the information to bring you the lowdown on what just happened. From the accessories to lust after to the familiar faces on the runway, here are the top six talking points from the Fendi show.
Fashion Show Pre-Game
Stylist and fashion influencer Tina Leung took over Fendi’s Snapchat, while Evangelie Smyrniotaki (a.k.a. @StyleHeroine) invaded the brand’s Instagram Stories for pre-show coverage, giving us a taste of what’s to come.
It's All in the Fendi Family
The Fendi family, alongside the crème de la crème of the industry, attended the show in full force. Half of the Hadid family was also present with sisters Gigi and Fendi campaign girl Bella Hadid, both of whom walked the runway.
It's Showtime
The show space was decked out in light-colored wood and filled with the iconic double-F logo.
Minimal Makeup
With the runway ruled by reds, beiges, and browns, it only made sense that makeup was kept minimal – adding to that autumnal, natural vibe. The perfect “no-makeup makeup” look, it was all about bare eyes, subtly perfected skin, and effortlessly loose locks. In the backstage words of Bella Hadid, “Natural vibes for Fendi.”
F Is for… Fendi's New Logo
Hoop earrings with the brand’s new “F” logo were spotted on all the models. We predict a very Instagrammable sell-out success.
If You Buy Only One Pair of Boots Next Season…
Make it deep red in color and thigh high in length. Wear it with literally all your looks, just like the army of ‘Carmin’-booted Fendi angels.
