While its innovative digital strategies and forward-thinking ways are the core of what drives Burberry as a leading luxury brand, it is also one that celebrates the best of emerging and established talent across multiple fields. For the Burberry February 2017 Collection, Chief Creative and Chief Executive Officer Christopher Bailey was inspired by the work and process of British artist Henry Moore, who is globally recognized for his semi-abstract sculptural pieces.
Moore’s signature shapes, scales, and textures informed Bailey’s designs and were translated into sculptural silhouettes and asymmetric designs – think: thick knitwear, shoulder-baring dresses, one-sleeved shirts, and skirts with diagonal hemlines. You’ve just the seen the show live-streamed from Makers House in London, and minutes after, Savoir Flair is giving you access to shop the Burberry February 2017 Collection. Talk about instant gratification at its finest.
