Dalia Nsouli, arguably the region’s most fashionable banker, is currently balancing motherhood, her career, and being one of the best-dressed women in the Middle East. Beyond her covetable weekend wardrobe and perfectly paired workwear accessories, Nsouli also boasts a jewelry collection full of stories and memories. Read on below as she shows Savoir Flair five of her most precious pieces and reveals the heartfelt moments behind them.

A Vintage Pearl Choker from the 90s

“My mother gave me this necklace, and I fell in love with it at first sight. It’s very 90s glam, very Gianni Versace. I like dressing it down as it’s a statement in and of itself. The gold hardware is a perfect touch; it has a gold chain down the back that you can’t see in the photo. It’s my absolute favorite piece of jewelry, especially because it’s from her.”

Amber, Ruby, and Diamond Earrings

“These earrings were a gift I received when I gave birth to my son, which makes them all the more special. Amber is one of my favorite colors, and I love the contrast with the red ruby. Another reason I fell in love with them is because they’re chunky, which I always prefer.”

A Piaget 'Limelight' Watch

“This watch was a surprise from my husband – anything from him is precious to me. He bought it for me while on vacation in Dubai. I was looking for an evening watch, especially a small one with a silk strap, so I fell in love with this piece as soon as I laid eyes on it. It’s simple but beautiful.”

A Diamond-and-Gold Necklace

“My father made this necklace for me, which has my son’s name in Arabic, making it twice as special. It says ‘Um Fouad’, which means ‘Mother of Fouad’. Referring to mothers using the name of their first-born child, especially if it’s a boy, is a term of endearment in our culture. It’s kind of a milestone to get this title, and it’s something so beautiful and special to me.”

Ruby, Diamond, and Sapphire Bracelets

“I got these for myself in Beirut. I cherish and appreciate everything that I buy for myself because I really do work hard for it. I first saw these a few years ago on vacation in Thailand, but I couldn’t afford them back then. When I could, they were the first pieces of jewelry I bought for myself.”
