It’s Dior – but not as you know it. Under the artistic direction of Maria Grazia Chiuri, the first-ever female Creative Director at Dior, the French luxury fashion house is headed into a whole new era. Today’s Dior woman is sensual and assured. Embodied by British model Ruth Bell, the message is loud and clear for Spring/Summer 2017, and it’s all about female empowerment – a subject that Chiuri has long been advocating and which was translated into one of the key pieces from the new season’s collection, a T-shirt that reads, “We should all be feminists.”
Feminism aside, there’s lots to see in this exclusive 15-second clip, directed by French photographer and videographer Brigitte Lacombe, one of the creative talents involved with “The Women Behind the Lens” project. You’ll also spot the new and highly covetable jewelry and accessories from the brand, including chain bracelets, slingbacks, and the comeback of Dior’s famous logos. Press play to discover the new Dior.
