A watch is the ultimate investment piece – virtually no other accessory can claim to be worn daily, looked at repeatedly, treasured for a lifetime, and then passed on to a loved one from the following generation. Naturally, this extremely precious piece speaks volumes about personal taste and aesthetic, providing a perfect representation of its wearer. A brand that has understood and captured the essence of this relationship is historic watchmaking maison Jaeger-LeCoultre, which is now making horological dreams come true by launching the ‘Atelier Reverso’ watch-personalization experience.
Within an artisan-style workshop located in the brand’s boutiques worldwide, the ‘Reverso Duo’, ‘Duetto’, and ‘Classic’ styles can now be completely customized to suit the wearer’s preferences and personality. Further to engraving the back and changing the strap – options that were already available in stores – customers can now give their watches an even stronger identity by choosing the design of the back dial.
The proposed range includes versions with stones and ivy motifs, available in sophisticated hues of pink, dark blue, gray, red, and brown. For an extra dose of sparkle, the center and hour-markers can be fully set with gems too. The straps, meanwhile, come in refined materials, such as satin, and exotic leathers, such as alligator and ostrich.
And if that wasn’t tempting enough, the brand has partnered with footwear genius Christian Louboutin to create a set of designs that will be available in stores for one year to mark the 85th anniversary of the ‘Reverso’ watch.
