From dusk to dawn, if you’re partying with the Temperley tribe, you’re doing so in irrepressibly optimistic styles.
With a cheerful festival-oriented collection for Spring/Summer 2017, Temperley London joins the “see now, buy now” fray that has seized hold this season by offering a limited run of items straight from the catwalk for women who are still venturing to outdoor festivals around the world. Although Burning Man just finished, there are still plenty of opportunities to rock these looks ahead of spring at places like Austin City Limits, Day for Night, or the EFG London Jazz Festival. Of course, an investment in these richly embellished pieces might not sit well with the muddy festival environment, but if you’re into ‘glamping’, this collection is perfect for an outdoor concert experience.
Temperley London’s haute hippie vibe blossomed in desert hues on gypsy dresses, short disco jumpsuits, and long striped vests, before taking a turn for jewel-toned territory. Pretty frocks, flirty skirts, embroidered waist coats, and rainbow-striped palazzo pants turned up the volume on the festival theme. Looks grew bolder and more lavish as hemlines dropped to the floor, and a variety of breezy frocks, goddess gowns, and separates showcased the brand’s exquisite range of embroidery techniques. Among the best looks were glittering silver dresses upholstered in vibrant florals, a sheer ‘cold shoulder’ dress with pastel macramé webbing, and a ruffled flamenco gown in the most delicate shade of pink imaginable. From dusk to dawn, if you’re partying with the Temperley tribe, you’re doing so in irrepressibly optimistic styles.
