Two years after its launch, Dubai’s definitive spot for designer-dress rentals, Designer-24, expands to Beirut. With a beautiful, Parisian-themed showroom located in Ashrafieh, the thriving company has officially opened its doors to Lebanese women this month, offering them a roster of designer brands and pieces straight off the runway for a fraction of their prices.
Co-Founder and CEO Sara Alemzadeh speaks about the rapid growth and expansion, saying, “The UAE is a largely expatriate country with many transient residents. Our customer base is large and expanding. Our clients come from Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, India, and Iran. Opening our doors in their home countries seemed like a natural next step.” Ranya Khalil, Co-Founder and President, adds, “The growth has been tremendous. We are so excited about this next phase in our business. Wedding season in Lebanon can be an extremely stressful endeavor. Ladies can now enjoy the parties without the stress.”
Now, the only dilemma is choosing a dress, as Designer-24 carries (and delivers) over 100 brands the likes of Self-Portrait and Jonathan Simkhai, as well as Elie Saab and Zuhair Murad, with prices ranging from $50 to $1,000.
