Listen up; there’s a new kid on the London shopping block! In early 2015, we heard through the grapevine that Boutique 1 was due to open in London, and the much-awaited launch has finally taken place. Read on for the lowdown on this two-story shopping haven.
The London boutique is situated on the luxe shopping destination that is Sloane Street. There are two entrances to the store, with the one on Pavilion Road offering more discretion to those who want to shop incognito.
An understated décor, with a neutral color palette and natural elements, gives the space a cozy feel. Vintage Victorian flower pots paired with polished brass planters are scattered throughout the store for touches of greenery, while the furniture is by Parisian architect and designer Christian Liaigre.
Boutique 1 offers the same unparalleled shopping experience in London as it does in Dubai. This means extras like complimentary beverages while you shop and two in-house seamstresses who will impeccably tailor your purchases for free. The VIP fitting room has a brass gold button that you can press if you need assistance. Boutique1.com also offers same-day delivery within London in addition to a click-and-collect service.
The store features an outdoor cafe, April’s Café, which is independently operated by Pablo Flack and David Waddington of famed East London hangout Bistrotheque. Scheduled to open on September 1st, it will accommodate up to 36 Boutique 1 shoppers and guests.
