Dubai-based Pakistani designer Marina Qureshi has been on the regional fashion scene for a number of years now, but she treats every new collection as an opportunity to experiment with her talent, keeping her patrons both guessing and wanting.

For Fall/Winter 2016, she introduces new fabrics, silhouettes, and color palettes while staying loyal to her feminine, tried-and-true aesthetic. Entitled ‘Broken Nature’, the new collection is brimming with floor-sweeping romanticism, featuring eveningwear dresses in jewel-tone shades of deep blue, red, and purple. And just when you thought you had it figured out, teal is carefully thrown into the mix, refreshingly breaking up the color palette to ease you into those glamorous, high-octane Dubai nights.

Qureshi then continues to push her design boundaries with fanciful additions – think: hand-embellished details like fringe, dashes of sheer fabric, and the introduction of faux leather and tweed to give a slightly edgy vibe to the collection.

Marina Qureshi is currently stocked at Cream in Saudi Arabia, Lati in Saudi Arabia, and Dress Me in Qatar.
