In this Fashion HQ installment, Savoir Flair takes you into the workspaces of fashion’s most creative faces. In this series, follow us into the Dubai headquarters of Huda Al Nuaimi, a designer who is fast making a name for herself thanks to her covetable embellishments and dreamy designs.
Her workspace, just like the collections she designs, is chic, light, and airy, incorporating an eclectic mix of finishes and decor items and highlighting the things that are closest to her heart, like fashion and animals.
Speaking to Savoir Flair, the designer explains her thoughts behind keeping the space open, saying, “You get to see the entire design and creation process. It makes it easier for me to liaise between and assist the dressmaking and embellishment teams. It also brings everyone closer together and is intended to promote collaboration. We always have a good time.”

“I spend a lot of time in the office, and the thing that I love to do most in here is definitely designing.”
“The open space is intended to promote collaboration. Also, it makes it easier for me to liaise with the different teams.”
“We always have sweets and croissants in the office. I also make the best coffee – it’s made with love.”
“I am very particular about every detail in the creation of a design and always work closely with my team.”
“Lemongrass-scented candles are a staple in the office. Aside from that, there are quirky holiday finds around the space too – sometimes I think I’m a hoarder.”
“I’ve just introduced a range of embellishments. I think embellishing a design really completes the piece; it adds a bit of va-va-voom to an outfit.”
“This is my makeshift mood board. It reminds me that a young spirit is always in fashion and to keep smiling; it always makes you look prettier.”
“I really love animals and I try to educate other people whenever I can about how to protect them.”
