If the rising temperatures are starting to take a toll on your weekend plans, Savoir Flair suggests you add these two incredible indoor shopping experiences to your itinerary, whether you live in Dubai or Manama.
Design 971
House of Nomad, Madiyah Al Sharqi, L’Afshar, Taller Marmo, and a few other illustrious regional designers under the umbrella of Faux Consultancy Group are being hosted at Design 971, The Dubai Mall’s first-ever pop-up concept boutique that regularly highlights emerging young talent from the Middle East. You can expect to find these designers’ Spring/Summer 2016 and Ramadan capsule collections at the two-month-long summer pop-up. In addition to the previously mentioned designers, covetable labels like Dima Ayad, Andrea Wazen, Endemage, and Fatema Fardan are also taking part in this event. If you’re shopping for new seasonal threads or indulging in a new look for the upcoming Ramadan season, make sure a visit to Design 971 is at the top of your list.
Little Island Market
A group of well-selected regional brands and designers is making its way to the shores of Bahrain for the Little Island Market, an indoor concept pop-up shop that will run for three consecutive weekends starting on May 20th from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. in Al Raya Mall. Marina Qureshi, Arwa Al Banawi, and Fatema Fardan are a few of the notable fashion brands that will be participating alongside beauty and lifestyle stalls where you can shop pampering and organic products.
